Quarterly Email Trends Report

As a Canadian email marketing company, we found it difficult to find Canadian email marketing statistics like those from similar American companies. So we did what seemed logical - we decided to publish our own!

Q1 2007 Email Trends
Q1 2007 has proved to be a bizarre quarter for email marketing! Results by list size weren't too different, but by industry, there were a few whoppers.

Past reports:

Q4 2006 Email Trends
The Q4 Email Trends Report includes new data; splitting by email type. At card, we've long suspected the shorter e-bulletins outperform the traditional e-newsletter format, and boy were we ever right! We've also included data on other types including sales/promo messages, info updates, greeting cards and e-vites. And of course, you'll find the usual breakdown by list size.

Q3 2006 Email Trends
Like Q2, the Q3 Email Trends Report analyzes deliverability, open and click-through rates based on list size and industry. We've also included some insight into sending emails over the summer.

Q2 2006 Email Trends
The Q2 2006 Trends Report provides a look at current trends from Canadian-based email marketers. For this report, we dig a little deeper than just results based on list size and examine results by industry as well.

Q1 2006 Email Trends
Turns out, bigger is not better. As an email marketing firm we are often approached by clients who are dying to grow their list, get more people to sign up, even wanting to rent or buy a list to get more names. However, where the list is concerned, it boils down to one thing: quality over quantity.
