Motivating people to sign-up for your emails takes thought and strategy. You know your audience better than anyone but here are five tried and true tips to help you boost your email sign-ups:
  1. Keep the sign-up process simple - adding an automated sign-up process to your web site is easy (Need help? Contact us today!) and make sure you only ask for information you really need!
  2. Include a privacy policy that outlines how you will use their information - people basically need to know that you will never sell or rent their contact information.
  3. With regards to frequency, set the parameters up front and stick to them - people want to know how often you will communicate with them.
  4. Add an incentive to sign-up - it can be as simple as a free download, access to a special report or maybe the chance to win a contest!
  5. Include "forward to a friend" links and sign-up boxes to every email you send - like the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together!
