June 2004

Given our reputation for sharing yummy chocolate-covered coffee beans and in keeping with what we recommend to every client - go for short emails - "On Track" has perked into "Expresso"! This new, lighter approach is what the future of successful email marketing is all about. Studies show email marketing is on the rise (because it works) which means we all have more email than ever. More email means less time to read each message which explains why we'll almost always read the short vs. the long emails! You see it's not rocket science. Let's simply respect people's time and deliver what matters most! Thanks to the measurability of email and feedback from readers like you, we've decided to focus on
e-marketing buzz. And when we can't resist, we'll stir in the occasional survey, poll or article!

Less really is more! Enjoy the quick read!

PS - Hit reply and share your thoughts on "Expresso"!
PSS - Our offices are closed this Thursday (Happy Birthday Canada!) and Friday too (Seems like the perfect excuse for a 4-day weekend!)

More and more people are using Outlook 2003 (a version one beyond Outlook XP) featuring a new viewing method that reduces the width of an email message window. So when working on the layout of your e-newsletter, ensure important content is positioned on the left since some of the content on the right may be out of viewing range.
