Good lists start with permission. Permission leads to trust. And trust builds relationships which ultimately become the key to successful email marketing. Think about it. Do you respond to emails from strangers or brands you've never heard of...or from people or brands you know and trust? Our message is simple. Don't worry about the size of your list; focus on building relationships and having a quality list. But where do you start? First, you need to ask people to opt-in to receive your emails. Ask for permission at every logical opportunity - on your web site, on sales visits, over the phone, at trade shows, on every email you send! Sounds easy right? It is, but remember that the use of e-newsletters, e-flyers and e-whatevers are on the rise! So what are you going to do to motivate people to sign up for your e-whatever vs. someone else's e-whatever? Get 5 great tips now!
